A TERRIFIED family fled their dream home after a massage gun exploded setting their living room on fire.
Claire Storey was in bed when there was a “bang” and the fire alarm went off.
Husband Richard rushed downstairs to find the massager had blown to pieces, melting their Henry hoover and setting off small fires around the lounge.
As he doused the flames, Claire rounded up their three children, aged 15, 13 and eight, and two dogs, ran out of the home and dialled 999.
Car salesman Richard, 42, put out the flames before the fire brigade arrived.
Photographer Claire, 41 said they had recently installed the alarm and rewired the six-bedroom, £850,000 home in Andover, Hants.

“It’s terrifying. We might not be here now.”
Claire said the £69 massage gun was a gift from one of her husband’s friends.
A brand was recently recalled in the US over fires caused by the devices overheating while recharging.
