KATIE Price's former dressage teacher has been called up for Team GB after Charlotte Dujardin was banned following a shocking horse whipping scandal.
The six-time Olympic medallist, 39, pulled out of the upcoming Paris Games this week after a disturbing clip emerged online showing her striking a horse 25 times with a large whip.
The 60-second video, taken during a lesson with a then 19-year-old rider at a private stables, came to light via a whistleblower just days before the start of the Olympics.
Stephan Wensing, the whistleblower's lawyer, has said his client published the damning clip from a few years ago because she feels strongly about mistreatment of horses in dressage.
The horror footage sparked worldwide condemnation and meant that Great Britain's dressage team was forced to call up its reserves to plug the gap.
The team's reservist Becky Moody will take Charlotte's place as part of the trio going for gold.

But it also means Katie Price's former trainer Andrew Gould will be called up as the new reservist.
Dressage rider Andrew was at the centre of Katie Price’s divorce from Pete in 2009 - and his wife at the time, childhood sweetheart Polly, made no secret of disliking the ex-glamour model.
When images emerged of Katie on a boozy night out with Andrew in the same year, it led to a huge bust-up between her and Pete.
Both Katie and Andrew denied any suggestion they'd been unfaithful, but in 2012 she revealed Pete had ended their three-and-a-half-year marriage because he thought otherwise.

After receiving his Team GB call up, Andrew Gould issued a statement saying: "Not a post I was expecting to write and under these circumstances but as you may have heard I’ve been called up to be the fourth member of the GB team.
"It’s an absolute privilege and an honour to be given the trust and responsibility to be a member of the team.
"I will do everything I can to support the team whilst gaining as much experience of this time as possible.
"Indigro is feeling the best he’s ever felt and is ready to face whatever comes his way.
"Now it’s time to come together and support Team GB."
Andrew will be riding his black stallion Indigro alongside teammates Carl Hester, Charlotte Fry and recently added Becky Moody on her horse Jagerbomb.
Katie and Andrew have always denied anything ever happened between them - with Katie close friends with his wife Polly at the time.
Andrew's former wife Polly was even a bridesmaid at Katie's second wedding to Alex Reid.
But when the snaps came to light of Katie and Andrew out on the town in 2009, it led to a massive row between the celeb couple.
Katie had promised Pete she would stop going out without him but lied about her whereabouts and only came clean when she made the papers.
Ultimately it was the beginning of the end for Pete and Katie's time together as their three-and-a-half-year marriage came to an end soon after.
Andrew and Polly released a statement at the time about the strength of their relationship and Polly spoke out about how Katie had ruined her life.
She said at the time: "I am not happy about it at all. I am not happy I got involved in her life.
"I am not happy that it has come to this. Jordan became a client of my husband and mine too as we both run a horse business.
"He teaches her and I look after her horses and that was supposed to be it.
"But I am sure there will be other stories to come out and I am cross the focus has shifted onto us like this."
Former glamour model Katie told in her 2010 book You Only Live Once that Pete was furious over her friendship with Andrew.
"Pete met Andrew and everything changed," she wrote.
"He had met Polly and Andrew briefly when they both came round to the house once before we went off to a horse show, and even in that brief meeting - which was filmed for our reality series - I got a bad vibe from Pete, but thought maybe I was imagining it.
"I admit we were both jealous in our marriage... Jealousy is a poison, a cancer, and once it starts growing out of control, it can destroy everything."
However, Katie was even previously reported to have called Andrew "the one that got away".
A pal previously told The Sun Online in 2019: "Katie still jokes that Andrew is the ‘one that got away’.

"She had a crush on him and they were very close, even though nothing happened as they were both married."
However, Katie's publicist said the friend's claims were "not true".
Katie Price 'affair'
Katie Price and Peter Andre were one of the most memorable celebrity couples.
Peter and the former glamour model tied the knot in 2005 after meeting on I’m A Celebrity and falling in love.
However, after just four years together the pair announced in 2009 that they were splitting.
Katie confessed that Peter was convinced that Katie had been unfaithful with her.
Pete suspected that something was going on between his then-wife and her horse trainer Andrew Gould, according to Katie.

Former glamour model Katie told in her 2010 book You Only Live Once that Pete was furious with jealousy over her friendship with Andrew.
In 2012, she said that Peter was confused when she would come back in a good mood after spending time with her horses.
She said: “Anyone who loves horses know when it’s your passion you can’t get away from it.
“He thinks I’m happy because I’m with him and it wasn’t the case at all. I’m happy because I’m riding, doing my passion. So, it’s sad really.”
