FANS invaded a cricket pitch and fought with a stump as a dog chased them mid-game.
A match between Connah's Quay and local rivals Ruthin in Wales was abruptly halted.
Two fans poured onto the pitch and across the wicket, with one chasing the other with a bat.
The individual being chased instinctively picked up one of the stumps as he ran past and tried to keep his attacker away from him.
He then ran back across the wicket and avoided someone trying to stop him, all the while a dog ran around the pitch.
The bat wielder then finally decided to quit his chase.
