Hannibal tipped for summer exit
Rangers are battling FC Copenhagen for Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri, it's claimed.
Gers boss Philippe Clement got a close look at the Tunisia ace, 21, in a friendly against United at Murrayfield last week.

The Spaniards declined to take up a £17million option to buy him.
Thiago blow puts Toney exit at risk
EXCLUSIVE: BRENTFORD have been left sweating over Igor Thiago’s knee injury which could complicate plans to sell Ivan Toney, writes TOM BARCLAY.
Striker Thiago, 23, joined for £30million this month from Club Brugge with a view to being Toney’s replacement.
But the record signing hurt his meniscus during the Bees’ 5-2 win over Wimbledon on Saturday, despite scoring twice.
Brazilian Thiago will have further scans next week to determine the extent of the damage.
Meniscus injuries can vary in severity with relatively minor ones leaving a player sidelined for four to eight weeks.
But a bad tear can be four to six months.
Should scans reveal it to be the worst-case scenario, that could have an impact on Toney.
The Three Lions forward, 28, has less than a year left on his Bees contract and would like to leave to play at a higher-profile club.
Brentford were looking to cash in during this window rather than lose him for nothing in June.
Hugill joins Wigan on loan

The Red Devils were plagued by fitness issues in that position last season.
And the Mirror claim United are looking at Hancko, free agent Marcos Alonso and Crystal Palace's Tyrick Mitchell

But the Dutch giants are tipped to demand £30m for the 26-year-old.
'Denzel for Aaron swap still possible'
Manchester United ARE in talks with Inter Milan over swapping Aaron Wan-Bissaka for the Italians' flying Dutchman Denzel Dumfries.
AVB is regarded as a specialist defensive right-back, whereas Dumfries is more of an attacking wing-back - which Old Trafford boss Erik ten Hag appears to prefer.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Roman reckons discussions between the two European giants are still at a tentative stage.
But the Red Devils are reportedly wiling to offload AWB a year before his contract expires.
Meanwhile, Inter are in a similar situation with Dumfries.
Onana explains why he chose Villa over Man Utd
Amadou Onana says he snubbed Manchester United to sign for Aston Villa because the league table doesn't lie, writes GRAEME BRYCE.
And Unai Emery was able to offer him the Champions' League football Erik ten Hag couldn't.
The £50milion Belgium midfielder rejected better financial terms from United for a five-year-Villa deal.
Onana claims it was a careful calculation and in the final analysis he believed Emery could improve his game quicker than Ten Hag could.
Asked why he snubbed United for Villa, Onana told Belgian sports paper La Derniere Heure: "I think that's where I should be (Villa).
"For me, Aston Villa is part of the top of English football. The ranking speaks for itself and is significant.
"The general public may think that it is not the most glamorous club but it was the best choice for the player I am today.
"Aston Villa is a top club. I went where I felt the right ambition and the best project to make me grow.
"The environment seemed the most conducive to my development and I will be able to work with Unai Emery, one of the most qualified coaches in the field."

The home in Bowdon, Cheshire boasts an open plan kitchen, three reception rooms, a cinema room and bar.
The property has electric security gates, monitored CCTV and intruder alarm.
The home also has separate au pair accommodation and a double garage containing a gym.
Included in the rent is a gardener, all utility bills and a full Sky TV package - ensuring Yoro doesn't miss any Premier League action.

Red Devils could go for Sof option
Loanee midfielder Sofyan Amrabat could return to Manchester United.

Old Trafford chief Erik ten Hag is thought to have been impressed with how the Morocco anchorman finished the season.
And Tedeschi told Firenze Viola, he said: “In my opinion there is a concrete possibility of bringing Amrabat back to Manchester United.
“In my opinion there was some doubt also because it was not known whether Ten Hag would stay.
“Now that it’s certain that he will stay, there are grounds to think about bringing Amrabat back even on loan with obligation, or at a lower figure. The United solution is the easiest.”
Barca 'confident of luring Man Utd target Olmo'
Barcelona are convinced they can land reported Manchester United target Dani Olmo.
Manchester City and Bayern Munich are also said to be monitoring Spain's Euro 2024 attacker.
Mundo Deportivo say Barca have made an opening offer to RB Leipzig of around £33million in instalments, plus about £16m in possible add-ons.
But Olmo's club are understood to prefer a far larger sum up front - ideally his full release clause of £49m in one go.
The 26-year-old notched three goals and two assists in helping Spain win the Euros.
Leipzig favourites to bag 'Utd target' Xavi
Manchester United and Bayern Munich face losing out to RB Leipzig for PSG winger Xavi Simmons.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano rates Simons’ loan club last season as favourites to capture the Netherlands starlet.

He impressed on loan for Leipzig last season.

Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff is said to have held talks with the French champions.

But those plans may be shelved after Thiago hurt his meniscus.

It was an excellent start to his time in West London but the shine was taken off by his setback.
A club statement confirmed: "Brentford’s Igor Thiago suffered a meniscus injury during the Bees’ 5-2 victory over AFC Wimbledon.
"The striker, who scored a brace on his first appearance for the club, is unavailable for this evening's game against Benfica and will have further scans next week to determine the extent of the injury."
Man Utd legend backs City boss for England job
Paul Scholes believes England should appoint Pep Guardiola as Gareth Southgate's successor.
Eddie Howe and Graham Potter are rated frontrunners.
But SunSport understands England are set to appoint Under-21 boss Lee Carsley as interim manager.
And the FA are reportedly willing to wait a year to hire their dream manager - Guardiola.
Former Manchester United and England midfielder Scholes told Sky Sports: "This group of players is the best we've had for a while, they play football. Almost as in the Man City way, the Pep Guardiola way.
"Technically very good, they can keep the ball all day long. They just suffered in a couple of areas, they couldn't really score or create as many chances as they would have liked.
"I think somebody like, I don't like to say it but Pep [Guardiola] with this group of players, I think he would get them over the line.
"Look if that's possible I don't know but I think he'd be the ideal man to take this team forward."
No Alonso approach
Reports circulating the internet have claimed that Man Utd are exploring the possibility of signing former Chelsea and Barcelona defender Marcos Alonso.
Alonso is currently a free agent and available to sign for a new club.

He said: "We had rumours on some players. As of today, Marcos Alonso's camp has not received any approach from Man Utd. No negotiations."

Branthwaite is said to be on £70,000 per week on his current deal, which has three years remaining.

"In my opinion there was some doubt also because it was not known whether Ten Hag would stay.

Neil Custis: Hojlund needs to deliver
Erik ten Hag told us to give Rasmus Hojlund time, now that time is up and it is time to deliver.
He has just been given Manchester United’s coveted number nine shirt and needs to emulate, or at least get near, many of the greats who have worn it before him if the club are going to get close to achieving their goals.
That is something he failed to do last season scoring just ten Premier League goals and 16 in all.
While he found the net early on in the club’s failed bid to get out their Champions League group it took him until Boxing Day of last season to get his first in the league.
That dramatic late winner against Aston Villa began a run of eight goals in as many games but just three more followed the rest of the season.
By the end his teammates looked to be reticent to even pass to him while he in turn argued for better service.
