A RARE PHOTO has shown the “brutal” damage to Tiger Woods' leg following his horror crash.

The golf legend, who played in the last men's major of the year at Royal Troon in Scotland at the weekend but missed the cut, made a miraculous comeback from surgery on both legs after a car crash in Los Angeles in 2021.

A photo of Woods posing with a fan while wearing shorts firstly revealed some of the damage he suffered from the operations two years ago.

That showed a huge scar going down the side of his right leg.

Since then, the 15-time major champion has rarely been seen without wearing his leg sleeve.

However, he attended an event that his son Charlie, 15, was playing in on Monday.

Woods, who has also had five back operations, opted not to wear his sleeve while there.

And that led to a fan being able to take a photo of his surgically repaired leg.

Once again it showed the massive scare down the right-hand side of his right leg.

After sharing it on X, one fan commented: “That looks brutal.”

A fellow fan declared that it looked “gnarly” while others praised his “steel” for even being able to get back on a golf course.

Woods has only managed to tee up five times this year and he finished 60th in The Masters.

The icon missed the cut in the other three majors and was forced to withdraw from the Genesis Invitational.

But he has not yet given any clues on whether he will take an even lighter schedule in 2025.

Meanwhile, Woods was prohibited by US Golf Association rules from serving as Charlie’s caddie for the tournament.

The American sporting icon was with around 100 people waiting at the first tee to watch Charlie play, according to the Associated Press.

Guidelines state a player cannot use a parent, step-parent or guardian as a caddie during the event.

Charlie had team-mate Luke Wise on bag duties, with dad doing the watching instead.

Despite the notable support, it was far from the happiest of days for Charlie.

He could never really get going at any stage and had to settle for a 12-over 82.

The pressures and toils of the day were clearly apparent when Charlie covered his face with his hat at the end of his round.
