A 55-YEAR-OLD fashionista has rubbished the suggestion that people should dress their age - despite what vicious trolls have to say.
Stylish mum Sue Giers, from Hamburg, Germany, shares passion for fashion - and recently confessed that being ''basic'' is not in her ''DNA''.
Although some expect women to become invisible after reaching a certain age, it is clear that the Sue, who also runs a business, refuses to do so.
The blonde beauty, who's 55, is no stranger to jumping on the latest trends - whether that's showing off her toned legs in teeny micro shorts or rocking a skimpy, figure-hugging romper.
Despite what haters say, the entrepreneur also continues to share fashion-related content and fit checks on her Instagram, where she boasts close to a staggering 62k followers.
One such more recent clip saw the stunner show off just some of her favourite wardrobe essentials, including a fabulous maxi dress enhancing her body, as well as a black midi frock she'd paired why sky-high stilettos.

For Sue, however, it's more than just about clothes - it's also a reflection of how far she's come.
The mum wrote in the caption: ''These pieces aren’t just fabric: they’re a celebration of the journey that brought me here.
I hope to inspire others to redefine ageing and beauty, showing that true style knows no age.

''Let’s continue to empower each other to boldly express ourselves and live life to the fullest!'' Sue reminded in the uplifting post.
However, despite the positive message, not everyone agreed with the German beauty, as trolls flocked to brutally shame her.
One person said: ''Respecting your age and respecting your body are 2 different things. You fit neither category.''
Someone else agreed, adding that Sue was simply thirsty for attention, in their eyes.
''Pick Me girls at the retirement community.''
It's not just Sue's ''don't care'' attitude that some bullies had an issue with - a few also came for the mini shorts.
One critic compared them to underwear, writing: ''The first shorts kinda look like boxer brief underwear though?''
Styling tips for women 50+
Our Fabulous Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend shares her top tips...
GET A BRA FIT: Underwear is the foundation to every single outfit, so make sure your bra is the correct fit.
If you're off to a good start you'll finish with a great outfits.
EMBRACE COLOUR: Bright colours will lift your skin tone and will give you glowing skin.
INVEST IN GOOD BASICS: You'll need your essentials like a good pair of straight leg jeans, white shirt, white t-shirt, black blazer and well made black shoe. You can't go wrong with rotating them when you don't know what to wear.
AVOID SHAPELESS: Hiding your figure under shapeless silhouettes is doing to date you and make you look frumpy. Try fitted clothes that aren't figure hugging - you need to be able to breathe.
EXPERIMENT: Try different items you wouldn't usually go for and mix them with what you already have. The results can mean a better dressed and more confident you.
But while there were the odd harsh remark here and there, the clip seemed to have mainly reached the more positive side of Instagram, with numerous supporters.
A viewer hit back at the trolls, writing: ''I don’t get the “too old to wear that” stigma.
''Like there’s an age requirement and age limit for nice clothing??? People care way too much.''
