THE Secret Life Of 5 Year Olds is returning in a new digital format – with an environmental theme.
The Channel 4 show ran from 2015 and followed children as they built friendships and played with peers at a specially designed daycare centre.
Now, the series returns in a digital format – part of the channel’s Fast Forward strategy in partnership with energy firm E.ON Next – on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
It will explore children’s awareness of climate concerns and eco-anxiety and energy saving.
A Channel 4 commissioner said: “We are thrilled to bring back such a well-loved, joyful and insightful series.
“By relaunching it on our social channels, we’re aiming to connect the next generation of five-year-olds with the next generation of social-first audiences.”

Holly heaven
HOLLYOAKS’ viewing figures have hit their highest in 2024, up 21 per cent on last year.
The digital-first C4 series also saw its audience share rise 61 per cent in the first week of July.
Hollyoaks will jump forward a year when it moves to three episodes a week in September amid a schedule shake-up.
Nigel on stately stories
NIGEL HAVERS is heading on a “jolly romp” at royal residence Sandringham.
And if nothing else, the new Channel 5 show, which airs at 9pm on Saturday, could help you win a pub quiz – thanks to the fun facts about the estate.
The host of Sandringham: A Royal Residence With Nigel Havers told The Sun TV Mag, free with the paper tomorrow: “I knew it as the place the royals went for Christmas, but that was about it, so it was a pleasure to learn the story.
"I found it fascinating that Sandringham had its own time zone, 30 minutes ahead of the rest of the country, to allow Prince Albert to make the most of daylight hours.

“And King Charles rents out some properties on the estate on Airbnb, although it will cost you about £2,000 a week.”
On the hunt for Fortune
CASTING is under way for series two of The Fortune Hotel.
Set in the Caribbean, the ITV1 show, hosted by Stephen Mangan, sees ten teams of two compete to uncover a suitcase holding £250K.
I previously revealed it was being teed up for season two after the success of its first outing in May.
Sky's the limit for Mr Bates
IT has already won huge public support for victims of the Horizon IT scandal and landed a clutch of awards.
Now, Mr Bates Vs The Post Office is up for another gong – at the Sky Arts Awards.
The ITV1 drama, which starred Toby Young and told the story of subpost-masters wrongly prosecuted by the Post Office over an apparent IT fault, has already won trophies at the Broadcasting Press Guild, RTS and TRIC awards.
It will be up against two other shows in the TV category – BBC One drama The Sixth Commandment and BBC Two documentary Once Upon A Time In Northern Ireland.
The awards will air on September 17 on Sky Arts and Freeview.
Drink on House, James?
JAMES NORTON was last seen setting himself alight in Sarah Lancashire's kitchen as Happy Valley serial killer Tommy Lee Royce.
So I would assume that his new role is a tad less dramatic.
He will play mysterious character Sean Rafferty in new Netflix series House Of Guinness.
The story explores the dynasty behind the famous black Irish stout and reimagines the in-fighting following the death of figurehead, Sir Benjamin Guinness.
Ballykiss-angel legend Dervla Kirwin is also involved, while other faces include stage star Anthony Boyle and Enola Holmes actor Louis Partridge.
Elsewhere in the strong cast are Michael McElhatton and Jack Gleeson, best known as Roose Bolton and Joffrey Baratheon in Game of Thrones.

Filming begins soon, with Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight in charge.
Cheers to that.
